Jennifer Tilly's birth took place at Los Angeles, California on September 16th 1958. The conditions were horrible. Her father worked as a salesman and her mother was a school teacher. Jennifer's parents separated at the age of five. Jennifer lived the majority of her childhood within British Columbia, after her mother and father moved to the province with their four children. As a result of her education in Canada's public schools, Jennifer came under the sway of many bullying incidents. Theater was her first passion, but it began to wane throughout her high school years, and as a result she took part in plays in addition to help from her mother.
